has been built from day one to operate as Year 2000 Compliant Products. There are no known date-related problems with any of these products. Each of these products are Year 2000 and leap year compliant in their past and current release versions and will remain so.
These products operate on standard date and time conventions on the Microsoft Windows operating system with the appropriate service packs installed with the appropriate service packs installed handles standard date and time functions with a four (4) digit year field, as YYYY-MMM-DD. This has been tested in-house.
Our products on Windows NT Operating Systems and the supported variants of UNIX:
Can be used prior to, during and after the calendar year 2000 without error relating to date data.
Will not abnormally end or provide invalid or incorrect results due to date data, especially between centuries.
All calculations and logic of time-related data (dates, duration, days of week, etc.) will produce the expected results for all valid date values within the applications.
Calculations and logic include sort algorithms, calendar generation, event recognition, and all processing actions that use or produce date values.
For any date element represented without century, the correct century is unambiguous for all manipulations involving that element, and, the meaning of dates presented in reports and screens are unambiguous.
Products that manipulate date information are designed to perform all arithmetic, Boolean, calendar and conversion operations correctly, including leap year calculations.
Products maintain an internal date format using four digit years and permit input and output with this format.
The ability of TRADEsolutions products to perform in the manner described above is, of course, dependent upon the receipt of correctly processed and transmitted data from and by all non-TRADEsolutions supplied products (such as hardware, software and firmware) that the customer uses in connection with the TRADEsolutions products.
Nothing contained in this letter is intended to modify rights and obligations under any agreement between the parties or to guarantee that any software is error-free. This document constitutes Year 2000 Readiness Disclosures.
